Lead Practitioner

Mirilena is a 20 year student of the human body, movement, and the breath. Mirilena brings her passion to every service she offers in the studio, creating a safe and supportive space. Mirilena specializes in working with trauma survivors from all walks of life, from sexual assault to abusive dynamics she is passionate about helping her clients learn to feel "at home," in their bodies again. Hands on, "therapeutic touch," is a powerful ally to the healing process for those reeling in the face of trauma and emotional turmoil.

Mirilena founded Body Alchemy almost 15 years ago in Colorado under the name Vox Bodyworks, and moved home to Tennessee to enrich her community and be closer to family.

Mirilena has a diverse set of skills that facilitate healing for her clients, from Fascial Stretch Therapy and Massage, to Craniosacral Work and Energy Healing. 

Mirilena has studied with many wonderful teachers over the years and is honored to carry their wisdom and knowledge forward to elevate the art of massage and bodywork.
