A gentle path back to yourself.
At Body Alchemy Chattanooga, massage therapy isn’t about pressure or performance—it’s about presence, safety, and healing. We do not offer deep tissue or sports massage. Instead, we specialize in a deeply nourishing, trauma-informed approach designed to support the nervous system, promote emotional regulation, and help you feel at home in your body again.
This work is especially supportive for those navigating PTSD, trauma, grief, chronic stress, or the heavy emotional labor of caregiving. Every session is rooted in compassion and care, meeting you right where you are, without force or agenda.
We understand that healing doesn’t always come from “doing more,” but from being held in a space where your system can finally soften, release, and rest. Through slow, intentional touch and intuitive pacing, we create a container where your body can begin to unwind and remember what it feels like to feel safe.
Massage at Body Alchemy is more than physical—it’s a somatic invitation to return to yourself, one breath at a time.

A still, soothing reset for your nervous system.
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on healing modality that invites deep rest, calm, and nervous system regulation. Unlike more active forms of bodywork, you don’t have to do anything during this session—just breathe, receive, and allow.
You’ll remain fully clothed and comfortably supported on the table while subtle, therapeutic touch helps your system shift out of survival mode and into a state of ease. This makes Craniosacral especially supportive for those healing from PTSD, trauma, chronic stress, or burnout.
Rather than forcing change, Craniosacral Therapy works by holding space—creating the conditions for your body’s innate wisdom to gently recalibrate. It’s a nervous system reset that often feels like slipping into a meditative, dreamlike state.
Clients often describe the experience as deeply restorative, grounding, and unexpectedly powerful. For anyone looking to step out of the chaos and into stillness, Craniosacral offers a quiet way back to yourself.

A gentle, co-created path back to safety and connection in your body.
Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is a non-invasive, pain-free technique designed to increase mobility, ease tension, and restore a sense of balance in the body—without force or discomfort.
What makes FST especially powerful is its mindful, collaborative approach. You’ll remain fully clothed throughout the session, and you are always in the driver’s seat. Your comfort, safety, and consent are central to every step of the process.
Rather than something being done to you, Fascia Stretch Therapy is a co-created experience. You are an active participant, moving and breathing with the practitioner in a way that honors your boundaries and supports your nervous system.
This work is particularly supportive for individuals navigating PTSD, trauma, or a disconnection from the body. It’s a gentle invitation to explore movement, release stored tension, and reclaim a sense of bodily autonomy—often with a quiet sense of relief and return.
Many clients describe it as the beginning of feeling “at home” in their body again.
What is Breathwork?
"Gain a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you. Deepen the relationship with your own soul, and find that you are connected to every particle in the universe. Separation is an illusion"
~The Acceptance Alchemist
Why Work with the Breath?
A gentle return to peace, presence, and connection.
Working with the breath is one of the most powerful ways to soothe the nervous system and reconnect with your higher self—but not all breathwork is created equal.
At Body Alchemy, our approach to breathwork is rooted in traditional, gentle practices that prioritize safety, spaciousness, and integration. Unlike many Western breathwork modalities that push the body into intense states of emotional catharsis, collapse, or overwhelm, we believe that true healing doesn’t need to be forced.
In fact, we’ve found that the “push harder” approach can be not only counterproductive, but harmful—especially for those healing from PTSD, trauma, grief, or chronic stress.
Here, less is more. With minimal interference from your facilitator, you’re given space to follow your own breath, your own timing, and your own wisdom. In the quiet we create together, you may find a deep sense of communion with the divine, a softening into presence, and a clearer connection to the truth within you.
Whether you’re seeking greater emotional ease, spiritual connection, or simply want to feel better in your body, breathwork at Body Alchemy offers a safe and sacred path home to yourself—one breath at a time.
Energy Healing
Energy healing is a natural non-invasive technique that works with the body's subtle energetic systems. We use energy to send impulses to our muscles and organs, we use energy to create movement in our muscles and to digest our food.
When you think of energy healing, it can be helpful to think about the nervous system. This system can be effected by stress, anxiety, and the experiences of daily life. The practice of energy healing can bring peace to the body and soothe the nervous system in a gentle way. This work can be experienced by all from young children to the elderly to those suffering from terminal or chronic illnesses. Energy healing is recognized as an alternative and complementary healing modality for cancer and other illness as it can reduce stress and promote relaxation.
